Students, the staff and guests celebrated Monday the completion of the elevator project at Santa Barbara High School.
Six elevators, which cost more than $5.4 million, make the campus accessible to students, staff members and visitors.
Built more than 80 years ago on a multilevel site, the campus posed access challenges that have been addressed with Measure V bond fund improvements.
Barbara Keyani is the Santa Barbara School District‘s communications and special projects coordinator.
